My sister Monse has been watching my comments section for years.

Not in a creepy way. In the way that a person who loves you notices things you stop noticing about yourself. She saw what I couldn't see from inside it – that every time I wore something, people lost their minds a little. The earrings. The necklaces. The random find I picked up somewhere and threw on without thinking. The comments, the DMs, the "where is that from" at midnight.

One day she called me and said: Carolin, you should just sell it to them. Stop making them hunt. Curate the stuff you actually love and put it in one place.

I told her she was crazy. She told me she was right. She usually is.

That's how this started.

Chloe & Emma are my two daughters and the reason I do everything I do. Chloe is nine – loud, glittery, covered in accessories at all times, and she will look you dead in the eyes and tell you that your earrings aren't giving. Emma is fifteen – calm, precise, someone who picks one perfect thing and that's it, done, no notes. They are complete opposites.

Kind of like me and Monse.

I'm the one in front of the camera. She's the one who built everything you're looking at right now – the store, the systems, the strategy. I pick the pieces. She makes sure they get to you. We have worked together our whole lives without ever actually meaning to, and this is just the latest version of that.

This is not a finished thing. We're figuring it out in real time, together – me and Monse, Chloe giving unsolicited opinions, Emma raising one eyebrow at half our choices.

What I can promise you is that nothing in this store is here by accident. Every piece is something I have worn, loved, photographed in bad lighting, or couldn't stop thinking about. If it made it here, I stand behind it completely.
